Myth About WiFi

I previously used TP-Link WR841n as home wifi router. Really sad. Not only did connection drop frequently, the speed was often lower than half of what I bought. Then I switched to Linksys EA3500, which supports 5GHz and AC. Happy enough. Nearly weeks without rebooting.

Reason as I guess, too much wireless interference. 2.4GHz band is crowded. American wooden apartments cannot shield signals from neighbors. I would usually be able to find over twenty wifi signals at home. Maybe this is the reason why connection is never stable.
