Thank God AT&T is not Chase

Knowing that nowadays asynchronous event processing using messaging queues is a norm, still, I cannot help wondering how AT&T makes use of such mechanisms. Every time I was notified that “your chat history will be delivered to your email when the conversation ends” and I did not get an email for hours, I sort of panic. Just imagine that Chase tells you a paycheck has been deposited to your account but you are not able to see it for hours. Thank God AT&T is not Chase.
